Bowl

Generally it is a bellied bowl (of faience, stone ware or porcelain) that has an open-worked top and a not-open-worked inside cover.

Ingredients

Make a mixture of plants (flowers, roots, herbs, fruits and spices) and you can add essential oils etc. Fresh flowers are layered with coarse sea salt, whereas the other plants are dried. After a short time a pleasant fragrance is achieved. Near to a heater the fragrance becomes even stronger.

self-made Potpourri

3 cups of dried flowers and leaves

2-4 tea spoons of violet root powder

2-4 drops of essential oil

spices: 2 tea spoons per spice

deco: e.g. 1 dried rose…
