...who developed the lipstick?

Scientists found out that more than 5500 years ago the first lipsticks were used for lips and eyes. The oldest lip salve is from the year 3500 BC and was discovered in Mesopotamia during excavations.

The known lipstick celebrated its première 125 years ago in Amsterdam. At first the lipstick was deprecated but at the beginning of the 20th century it was favoured by silent movie stars. It is one of the oldest parts of the make-up.
