Cleaning of VDS tested fabric qualities
The cleanability of the collection was tested by the association VERBAND DEUTSCHER SONNENSCHUTZREINIGER e.V.. All fabrics with the quality label of VDS can be cleaned by certified companies. You can find VDS companies as well as more information on: www.vds-sonnenschutz.de
Washable
The fabrics that are labelled "washable" can be washed carefully by hand in a suds of 30° with mild detergents.
Wipe humidly
Dilute mild detergents with lukewarm water, wipe carefully, do not drench. Do not use solvents. Do not use undiluted detergents or disinfectants on the fabric.
Brush dryly
Treat the fabric carefully with a soft brush. Do not use water or detergents.
Washing instructions for pleated blinds
Pleated blind fabrics that are labelled „washable“ can be rinsed in a suds of 30°. Afterwards wash it out properly, pleat the fabric and press out the water, but do not wring it. The installation shall not drip anymore. Hang up the wet closed blind and let it dry. Open the pleated blind several times during the drying process so that the pleats do not stick together. Do not iron it. If you have a motorized or crank-handled installation, please take care that these parts do not contact the suds or water.
