Like roller blinds, black-out blinds consist of a fabric that is wrapped around a tube. This fabric is made of light-tight material, which can be completely darkened and rolled up as required. Because of the side rails with connection to the wall a complete light termination results. Black-out blinds from erfal are mainly used in industrial buildings with large glass façades as well as in public facilities such as event halls or schools.

Black-out blinds from erfal are produced made to measure for you and cover the complete window area.
Cassette
The tube with the wrapped black-out fabric is hidden in a cassette. Depending on the model and the type of construction, an angled or semicircular aluminum cassette is used in white, silver or RAL colours.
Black-out
Due to their darkening fabric, black-out blinds are ideal for power point presentations or screen projections. The side rails provide a complete light termination.
Coatings
Many fabrics have a coating on the back to better reflect sunlight and heat, as well as to provide the best possible darkening. There are silver and pearlescent coatings.
Screen
Due to its material, the black-out fabric "Movex" from erfal is ideally suited for the use as a projection surface for films or applications of a similar type.
