erfal's S-(honeycomb)/pleated blind system, like a traditional pleated blind and the DUETTE® honeycomb pleated blind, is made of a permanently pleated fabric. In this variant, the pleats are only 16 mm wide for pleated fabrics and 20 mm wide for DUETTE® honeycomb pleated fabrics. In combination with the narrow operating profile, the S-(honeycomb)/pleated blind system has a space requirement of only 19 mm and fits perfectly with narrow installation depths. Depending on individual needs, the S-(honeycomb)/pleated blind system can fully or partially cover the glass surface. erfal's innovative S-(honeycomb)/pleated blind system is ideally suited to the requirements of balcony glazing and conservatories with sliding doors.

Mounting possibilities
The made to measure S-pleated blinds are integrated directly into the glass elements. They are fully functional at each opening position. The mounting is flexible, quick and simple.
on the glass element
A mounting with fixing brackets screws or block holders is possible according to the type of your balcony glazing. Drilling is hereby not necessary. A fixing clip is available for the COVER system window bar profile 10 – 2001.
in the window bar
S (honeycomb)/pleated blinds are mounted with a tensioning shoe in the glass frame, or screwed or glued.
on the window frame
S-(honeycomb)/pleated blinds can also be mounted without drilling by means of a clamping bracket.

Pleated blind types
Besides the standard (honeycomb)/ pleated blind range, the M-technique with pleat sizes of 20mm for pleated fabric and 25mm for honeycomb pleated fabric, erfal also offers the S-technique with smaller pleat sizes of 16mm for pleated fabrics and 20mm for honeycombed pleated fabrics. There are also medium pleat sizes of 32mm with the L-technique and large pleat sizes of 64mm with the XL-technique. As a result, various window types, shapes and sizes, as well as conservatories and balcony glazing, can be effectively fitted with functional window decoration.

Colours & Fabrics
S-(honeycomb)/ pleated fabrics are available in more than 40 colours and shades. The polyester fabrics are easy-care and washable .
Functionality
Perlex-coated pleated and honeycomb pleated fabrics ensure particularly high reflection of the sun's rays. The heat-insulating properties ensure a balanced indoor climate. S-(honeycomb)/ pleated fabrics protect against solar radiation and overheating in summer. Similarly, in winter they help against rooms cooling down too much. In addition, there is a noticeable improvement in room acoustics.
Transparencies
S-(honeycomb)/ pleated fabrics are available in various degrees of transparency: transparent, semi-transparent and blackout.
